Haiti relief efforts
As many of you know a massive earthquake and successive aftershocks have struck Haiti in recent days. This has wreaked havoc on the people of Haiti. Take a look at these videos. I encourage you to pray for the people of Haiti, and the church leaders there.
There is a helpful article here posted by Dr. Warner Smith on how you can help, along with information on Baptist relief efforts. Over at Caring for Haiti you can find a list of organizations that were on the ground in Haiti, helping before the earthquake hit. Over at Churches Helping Churches you can also find ways to help.
If it’s not your local church, I encourage you to find a reputable organization, and funnel your support through it. Your time and donations will make a difference.

Hey Joey. Good word. I watched both videos and prayed in agreement with Pastor Mark. What a tragedy, yet what an opportunity. I know God will get the glory from this disaster. Thanks for sharing those.

It’s crazy. The stories. I heard some missionary interviews that portrayed a little bit different picture of what is going on in different parts of Haiti. Pandemonium isn’t everywhere in Haiti. In the midst of the destruction, there are some areas that are calm…people coming together, standing around the fire, singing. We will continue to pray and ask God what we can do, even after the media cycle moves on.
