This Weekend
I’m leading worship at a DNOW in Warner Robins, tonight and Saturday night.
I’m supposed to preach and lead worship on Sunday at my church.
Right now I feel like crap. The whole fever thing, hot then cold…clammy…you know the deal. The doctors office is in my near future (hopefully in a couple hours) Ask the Lord to help me feel better soon!
I know God will work it all out.
Here’s a quote from one of the books I’ve been reading called “Worship Matters” by Bob Kaughlin. He quotes a great hymn writer, Issac Watts.
“The Great God values not the service of men, if the heart be not in it: The Lord sees and judges the heart; He has no regard to outward forms of worship, if there be no inward adoration, if no devout affection be employed therein. It is therefor a matter of infinite importance, to have the whole heart steadfastly engaged for God.”
That’s the word right there….a matter of infinite importance. Is it to you?
Think about it.
Have a good weekend!
