today was an encouragement
Today started off with a cheetah like speed one mile run (those of you who remember my body type are laughing right now) up the neighboorhood streets in the darkness…thumping some Lecrae, Matt Kearney, Leeland and Crowder in my headphones before I got ready to go to church. I came back got cleaned up and drove to the church house listening to the sound of my headers and 50 series flows on my Blazer as I ate a protein bar and pumkin scone (thank u Sarah). Today was an encouragement in the Lord’s house. I spoke with a friend of mine I haven’t seen in a while. My Mom, Dad and Sister came up for a visit. I also got some great encouragement from a guy on the church staff about worhsip leadership and how he thought the Lord was using me. We also got a really good sound check thanks to Aaron getting a good mix for us and an intentional EQ. I really enjoyed worshipping today. I want to teach about worship. I want to understand it’s purpose more and more. I want myself and the rest of God’s people to have a burning desire to worship Him. I’m looking forward to this week and seeing what God does.
