Vision of Change
I am going to learn a lot in my new job. In wisdom I also want to use the ideas that my experience has afforded. I want things to be excellent. People dont talk about ok things, or even good things. They talk about GREAT things. So lets do thing GREAT in God’s house so people will talk about HIM. I want to provide avenue for others to plug in and use their gifts. Ministry does not exist on a one man show. If I were to leave a ministry to go somewhere else, I would want to leave in my wake reproductions of what I have been able to teach and see development of others God given abilities for ministry in His Church. I will not set things up around the opinions of others pointing to the way things have been done in the past. Allthough I will take that into consideration. I will try and gracefully lead in the direction of vision in what I believe God has provided. My desire is to cast the vision clearly, so others may see and decide to join or not to join. I want to foster an environment where there is a concept of and freedom to worship in spirit and truth. I want to see a place where there is a welcoming presence to other belivers or outsiders because of the way people engage in worship of the Living God. In anyone’s coming to a new place of ministry things wont be the same as they always were. Anything that is not growing and changing is dead. It’s a fact of life. In the weight room muscle growth and strength does not come without pushing limits and pain. But you also have to know how strong you are in order to find the appropriate level of training to being in order to work towards growth. I desire to think like that in my ministry. Sometimes I mess up. Things I say might not come across the way I intended. At any rate my one goal is to honor God by being actively involved in His work and worshiping Him in a way that encourages others to so the same. Thats why we were created…for God’s praise and glory. That’s where I’m at. That’s where I want to take others. I want us to grow like crazy in every way all towards our God for His glory. Lord Jesus, “give me wisdom on how to do that”… is my prayer.
